Journal of Nuclear Agricultural Sciences
First published in 1987, the Journal of Nuclear Agricultural Sciences is the only academic journal in China dedicated to the application of nuclear technology and biophysical methods in agriculture and biological research. It is supervised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and jointly sponsored by the Chinese Society of Atomic Energy in Agriculture and the Institute of Food Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (formerly the Institute for Application of Atomic Energy, CAAS). The journal publishes original research papers and review articles on the application of nuclear techniques in agriculture—including artificial mutagenesis genetics and breeding using various radiation sources, food irradiation processing, and isotope tracing—as well as scholarly papers in related agricultural fields such as postharvest storage and processing of agricultural products and food, molecular biology, environmental protection, eco-agriculture, agricultural biotechnology, and water-saving agriculture. The journal serves as a valuable reference resource for scientific research and teaching, and has contributed significantly to the advancement of agricultural production and the development of the discipline.
The Journal of Nuclear Agricultural Sciences is published monthly, in a large-format (A4) size, and is released around the 10th of each month. It is distributed both domestically and internationally. The annual subscription consists of 12 issues, with each issue priced at 45 CNY(total 540 CNY per year). Domestic subscriptions are handled directly by the editorial office; the journal is not available through the post office.
