The structural identification, purification, especially the biological activities of spermidine derivatives are still worthy to explore. This review summarizes the chemical structures, sources, purification and biological activities of spermidine derivatives reported in the past 30 years, which may possibly build a foundation for future research of spermidine derivatives with special functions. %U https://www.hnxb.org.cn/EN/10.11869/j.issn.100-8551.2018.01.0123
